These three do not only play perfectly together for all this insanely fast tempo. There's also - and especially those - small accelerandi in the piano, and the strings still know exactly when the piano will finish its wild downward run and what sound intensity the pianist will move on with. These are the surprises and finely tuned changes that I mentioned earlier. There's not much for me to add, really: these recordings are proper earcatchers.
